Buscor (Pty) Ltd, a leading transport company requires the services of a Network Administrator. The position is available at Buscor Head Office Nelspruit. Interested candidates from all designated groups who meet the following criteria are invited to apply.

Minimum requirements:

• Matric/ Grade 12
• National diploma in Information Technology and/or relevant qualification or certifications
• A+ or N+ and 2 years relevant practical experience
• Sound knowledge of Computer and Network hardware and software
• Own transport

Experience in the following:

• Systems Administration – Cisco Systems, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V, VMWare, ESXi
• Network Administration – HP Core Switches, Routers, Fibre Connectivity, Wireless Connectivity, Mobile Network Administrations
• Operating Systems – Windows Server Versions, Window Desktop Versions, Linux, Android
• Backup Systems – Dell/Quest Rapid Recovery, Nas Devices knowledge, Powervault Modular Disk Storage Manager
• VOIP Systems Administration

Duties and responsibilities:

• Desktop level support
• Server infrastructure support – Windows server administration, Linux systems administration
• Data disaster recovery management – Data backups, Virtual machines replications
• Surveillance systems management
• Electricity disaster recovery – Management of server room-based generators, Ups systems, Solar systems
• Network systems administration – VLAN, Switches and Routes administrations
• Telephone system management – Cisco systems administration, VOIP systems, etc.
• Assists in maintaining the network user documentation including hardware/software applications, Support logs and other related information
• Ensure security of data and access privileges, Installs, Support and maintain network servers and appliances, Establish and maintain user accounts, Profiles, File sharing, Access privileges and security
• Helps to establish and maintain user e-mail accounts
