OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSING PRACTITIONER

Buscor (Pty) Ltd, a leading transport company requires the services of a Qualified Occupational Nursing Practitioner. The position is available at Buscor Malelane Clinic in Malelane.  Interested candidates from all designated groups who meet the following criteria are invited to apply.

Minimum requirements:

• • Grade 12 certificate
  • Degree / Diploma in Primary and Occupational Health
  • Excellent knowledge of OHSACT
  • Registered with South African Nursing Council
  • Registered with South African Society for Occupational Health Nursing
  • Valid Dispensing license – very important
  • Audiometry, Spirometry and Vision screening experience
  • At least 3 Years’ experience in Primary and Occupational Health care
  • Fully Computer Literate – Ms Office
  • Excellent communication, administrative and people skills
  • First aid level 2 or 3 certificate
  • Own transport
  • Medically fit

Duties and responsibilities:

• • Managing and planning clinic programs (PHC & OCH)
  • Management of injuries on duty and first aid
  • Provide medical surveillance
  • Provide support on occupational health and safety programs
  • Liaising with occupational hygiene professionals
  • Compiling of annual clinic budget and monthly reports
  • Provide support to the company medical practitioner
  • Quality assurance of clinic
